Financial Director CAREER SUMMARY Over 30 years of accounting, audit and Chief Financial Officer experience. Started career at KPMG, and was promoted to Senior Manager for KPMG Brazil. Thereafter, Mr. Nicholson founded and ultimately managed a middle-market C.P.A. firm, and co-founded a consolidator of middle-market plastic injection molding companies. He later became Chief Financial Officer and led the company through four acquisitions and a merger. CAREER DETAIL Mr. Nicholson is the Financial Director of Jordan, Knauff & Company and manager of the firm's Kansas City office. Prior to joining Jordan, Knauff & Company, Mr. Nicholson served as Chief Financial Officer of SciTech Plastics ("SciTech") a Kansas City, Missouri-based consolidator of manufacturers of highly engineered plastic injection molded products. He co-founded the company in 1997 and assisted in its growth from business concept, through the raising of debt and equity capital, to the completion of an aggressive acquisition program. By 2002, the company had grown to $50 million in revenues. The process of building SciTech included a recapitalization of the company in 1999 and, over time, the review of over 120 prospective acquirees, which resulted in four successful acquisitions and a merger. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Nicholson co-founded and served as the Financial Director of Kansas Financial Group, Inc., a boutique investment bank, providing consulting and advisory services to large LBO groups and individual investors in development of industry consolidation strategies in health care, commercial automotive parts, dry kiln operations and plastics. From 1980 to 1993, Mr. Nicholson was founder and Senior Partner of a middle-market CPA firm offering consulting and advisory services in the areas of intellectual property, commercial construction, direct marketing and manufacturing. Mr. Nicholson began his career in 1972 as a Certified Public Accountant at KPMG - Peat Marwick in Kansas City, Missouri. At KPMG, Mr. Nicholson started as an Associate and ultimately became a Senior Manager at the KPMG office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
