It is with great pleasure that middle-market investment bank Jordan Knauff & Company (JKC) announces that Mr. G. Cook Jordan, Jr. was chosen by the Selection Committee of The M&A Advisor’s Hall of Fame to be the recipient of their  Lifetime Achievement Award presented at the 2026 Leadership in Dealmaking Summit at the New York Athletic Club on September 15, 2026. This distinguished honor recognizes his decades of leadership, innovation, and lasting impact in the mergers and acquisitions (M&A) profession, helping shape the middle-market dealmaking landscape through an exceptional career of client service and transaction leadership.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Jordan commented: “I am proud to call myself an investment banker to the owners and management teams of middle-market businesses and the financial entities that transact with them. The greatest rewards from my work during the last twenty years are the contacts, relationships, knowledge and experience gained from our clients and industry partners. Moreover, while this award has my name on it, in reality it should instead, bear the names of the many outstanding personnel that have been associated with our firm. In 2001, Mr. Jordan co-founded JKC with a clear purpose: to provide experienced, professional and sophisticated investment banking services to the middle-market of American business. For the past 25 years, he has been providing professional investment banking services to middle-market companies across the United States and looks forward to the continuation of the journey in the years ahead.

Mr. Jordan has over 30 years of private equity and investment banking experience, and seven years of executive and operations experience in middle-market companies. He has spent his entire career in the middle-market and offers that expertise and knowledge to JKC’s clients.

Prior to the founding of JKC, he served as a Partner in the Chicago, Illinois, office of C.I.D. Equity Partners, a leading provider of venture capital and mezzanine financing to high growth companies. Before joining C.I.D., he was a Principal and Manager of the Chicago, Illinois, office of C3 Holdings, LLC, a private equity investor that specialized in acquisitions and industry consolidations.

Mr. Jordan also served as a Partner with Allstate Venture Capital, the private equity and venture capital investment division of the Allstate Insurance Company (NYSE: ALL). While at Allstate, he specialized in providing capital and assisting management teams in the development and financing of later-stage manufacturing and distribution companies, with a particular interest in industry consolidations.
