CAREER DETAIL
Mr. Collins joined Jordan, Knauff & Company as an Associate in 2003. He now leads the firm's efforts in the building products industry. Within that segment, window and door manufacturers are of primary focus. Mr. Collins has produced a large body of research, which is followed by hundreds of window and door industry executives.

Prior to joining Jordan, Knauff & Company, Mr. Collins was an Associate at Morgan Stanley. He started his career in 1995 in the Troy, Michigan, office of what was then Dean Witter Reynolds Inc. His responsibilities included advising individuals and business owners on their investments and retirement plans. In addition to conducting the direct marketing effort required to grow his client base, he served as the training coordinator for all new Financial Advisors in the office and was a speaker at various national meetings of the company.

By the time he was invited to join the high net worth client group of Morgan Stanley in 2001, Mr. Collins was responsible for roughly $80 million in client assets. While at Morgan Stanley's Private Wealth Management group in Chicago, he focused on developing new business opportunities among investors with $10 million or more in liquid assets and assisted in managing a proprietary covered call option portfolio.

Mr. Collins is a graduate of Central Michigan University (B.S. - Business Administration), where he was a Finance major and a Centralis Scholar. While there, he spent a semester studying economics and Japanese language at the Waseda Hoshien Center in Tokyo, Japan. In 2004, Mr. Collins was graduated from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago (M.B.A.) with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
